Salmonberrassing

It was a beautiful day in Seattle and I had just finished a group meeting at school. On my way to catch the bus home I decided to stop by Pikes Place Market and pick up some fresh king salmon for dinner. I guess I was distracted in by the guys yellling and throwing large fish around, but before I realized what I was doing I was handing my card over to a guy in an orange jump suit telling me what I owed him for the pound of King salmon that I had apparently ordered. $40.00!!! Totally embarrassed that I was a Salmon buying newb I cringed and paid for the flesh that had been filleted right in front of my eyes. It is a good thing Trev and I didn't go out for dinner on Valentines Day, because we definitely made up for the cost tonight. The Salmon was once in my lifetime delicious and I ate every last dollar... I mean bite. It looked pretty too!
